Following on from KS1's sports day last week, KS2 had a fantastic morning out, with all children trying their best in their races.
KS2 Quadkids Event 2017
On the 7th July, we went to the Cooper Schools Quadkids Athletics final. Both our Year 3/4 and 5/6 teams did exceptionally well against some very tough competition.
Y6 Sports Leaders Athletics Event for Year 1
After Jack (the event leader) explained everything clearly, the children started at their first stations.
Y6 Sports Leaders Boccia Event for Year 2
As we start, our organisers, Amelia and Diogo introduced today's sport - Boccia. The team leaders did a great introduction and introduced everyone helping with today's game.
Year 6 Sports Leaders Crew
The Year 6's have recently completed some training as on managing and leading events for others as part of the PE curriculum.

Youth Sports Trust
Longfields Primary School has been awarded the Silver Quality Mark by the Youth Sports Trust for the second year in a row.
School Games Bronze Award
This week, the 16th November 2015, we were proud to be presented our School Games Bronze Award
Quadkids Athletics Success
Today, 20 of our children went to represent Longfields KS2 at the Cooper Family Quadkids Athletics event with Mr Kellam.
Year 5 and 6 Kwik Cricket
The girls team came third overall with a record of the three wins and one loss. The win in the last game secured the third place.
Reception Multi Sports Competition
Red Door and Green Door compete in relay races developing different skills.
Reception dance lesson for parents
Parents are invited to watch a winter dance lesson and staff talk about the importance of PE as part of children's learning.
A big well done to the children that took part in the sports day's last week. Also a big thank you to all the parents who came along to support, it was fantastic to see every child being cheered along to the finish lines.
Foundation Multi Skills
On Tuesday the children in foundation enjoyed taking part in a multi skills competition organised by children in Key Stage 2.
